“And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him” (Mark 3:13)
If you’re saved, you’ll go to Christ when He calls, and do what He asks. There’s a modern version of the ancient gnostic heresy that says people can accept Christ as a Savior without submitting to Him as Lord. Their condemnation is just.
If you’re saved, God chose you in Christ before the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians1:4). “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life” (Galatians 6:7-9).
If you’re saved, God predestined you to be conformed to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29), for you are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that you should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).
If you’re saved, “you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
Most people think they’re saved because they repeated a salvation prayer. The Bible says, “In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God” (1 John 3:10).
There’s still time to switch lines if you realize you’re in the one headed for Hell.
