“He has commanded His covenant forever” (Psalms 111:9)

The Lord's people delight in the covenant of God.
God provided everything. The only thing man provided was his sin. Christ came down from Heaven, was born a perfect man, lived a perfect life, and died a perfect death as atonement for the sins of man, “that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

  His covenant is eternal.
“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself” (Ephesians 1:4-5).

  His Covenant is permanent.
“I will make an everlasting covenant with you ... Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him” (Isaiah 55:3-7).

His covenant will never be changed.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.  I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death” (Revelation 1:17-18).

  His covenant is bountiful.
“The hope of His calling ... the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19).
“Righteousness and sanctification and redemption … He who glories, let him glory in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).

                  His covenant is by grace.
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life” (Titus 3:5-7).
