“The unsearchable riches of Christ” (Ephesians 3:8)

Christ has riches beyond what calculators can count, beyond the comprehension of reason, beyond the imagination of dreams, beyond the eloquence of words. His riches are unsearchable! You may look, and study, and weigh, but Christ is a greater Savior and Lord than you can imagine.

Every saint should pray for, “the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him … that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints” (Ephesians 1:17-18).

He’s more ready to pardon than you are to sin. He’s more able to forgive you than you are to disobey. He’s more willing to take care of your needs than you are to pray for them. He has riches of happiness to bestow upon you now.

To know Christ and to be found in Him - oh! this is Life, this is joy, this is what you longed for. He doesn’t withhold blessings from saints that come to Him. He gives them two heavens - a heaven below in serving Him here, and a Heaven above to delight in Him forever. It would take more than eternity to begin to appreciate Him. On Earth, saints rely on Him for their every need, but in Heaven, needs and wants are the same. You won’t want anything outside the will of God! What a blessing!

But until that glorious day, I pray that you, “being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:17-19).
