“Fellow citizens with the saints” (Ephesians 2:19)

Every true Christian is a saint, which just means “holy”. If you’re a “saint”, God made you holy, “through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ” (Hebrews 10:8). Although you were automatically made a citizen of Heaven, you must continue to live as an alien on Earth until Christ returns, at which time he will “transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body” (Philippians 3:20-21).
While you’re here, you’re under the rule of the King of Heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ. He reigns in your heart, so your daily prayer should be, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). As His subject, you must keep His laws. When He was on Earth, He told His disciples, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:12). Saints obey His commandments because they love Him. “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world” (1 John 5:3-4).
Christ said, "You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14), so be “blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world” (Philippians 2:15).
