“The Lord takes pleasure in His people” (Psalms 149:4)

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way” (Psalms 37:23). What a blessing to know He appreciates you! Many saints secretly wonder if what they do for the Kingdom of God will ever be noticed. God knows. Saints can go for many years with no encouragement from man. Go to the Word of God for your encouragement. What God thinks is all that matters! “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant” (Psalms 35:27). 

 Christ is working all the time on your behalf. He’s preparing a place for you in Heaven (John 14:3); He lives to make intercession for you (Hebrews 7:25);.He knows every hair on your head (Luke 12:7); He knows your thoughts ( Psalm 119:2); He sees everything you do (Proverbs 15:3); He knows what you need before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8); He supplies your every need (Philippians 4:19); He wrote your name in the Book of Life Before He made the world (Revelation 17:8); so humble yourself under His hand, and He will lift you up, and cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:6-7). 

 So be encouraged! “The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17). Whatever you do for Christ in this life will be amply rewarded. 

 “What profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works” (Matthew 16:26-27).
