“Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14)
Angels were used by God in many of the great events recorded in the Bible. For example,  the Apostle Peter was led out of prison by an angel (Acts 12:7–11). Peter thought he was dreaming, until he “woke up”.
If our eyes were open to the spiritual world, we would probably see angels around us all the time. After all, children have angels assigned to them (Matthew 18:10), and angels are assigned to help anyone who is saved (Hebrews 1:14).
When Christ was tempted in the wilderness, Satan tempted Him by quoting a Scripture and Christ answered with a Scripture (Matthew 4:8-10). This is exactly how we should approach spiritual forces that appear to be angels.
We must be wary when people tell us of supernatural events, for “Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). I know good Christians who were deceived by what they thought was an appearance of an angel in dreams. The Apostle Paul warned two times, “If we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:8).

So, be cautious what you believe. If it doesn’t line up with Scripture, go to a minister who knows the Bible, and tell him about your experience. We are in a spiritual war (Ephesians 6:10-18).
So, praise God for His angels, but make sure what you believe lines up with Scripture, for
Satan will use “power, signs, and lying wonders … deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved” (2 Thessalonians 2:9–10).
