“I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19)
If you’re saved, Christ chose you to reject the temptations of this world and become one spirit with Him. He chose you before you and the world existed. “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love” (Ephesians 1:4). He supernaturally changed your heart and gave you the indwelling Holy Spirit so you could “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you”( 2 Corinthians 6:17).
God’s plan for saints is so amazing, the Apostle Paul prayed, that “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened …what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power” (Ephesians 1:17–19).

We are enlightened that  “our Old Man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin” (Romans 6:6).
We are enlightened to  “put off, concerning your former conduct, the Old Man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the New Man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:22–24).
We are enlightened to “walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another … those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16–25).
This is what it means to be chosen out of the world.
