“Do you also want to go away?” (John 6:67)
Many, who were never saved, have forsaken Christ, and walked away from Him, because they never knew Him. As the Apostle John said, “they went out from us … that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us” (1 John 2:19).
Follow-up studies of evangelistic campaigns have consistently shown that only 10% of people who make a “decision for Christ” show Biblical evidence of salvation. Here’s Biblical evidence:
                1) Saints bear good fruit. “Every good tree bears good fruit …. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit” (Matthew 7:17–18). “My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away” (John 15:1–2).
                2) Saints tell others about Christ. “Whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32–33).
                3) Saints keep God’s Commandments. “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar” (1 John 2:3–4). “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father” (Matthew 7:21).
This is how you can tell if you belong to God or Satan.
“In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God” (1 John 3:10).
It’s not too late. “The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age” (Titus 2:11–12). Therefore, “Repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance” (Acts 26:20).
